About

I provide EMDR and sensorimotor psychotherapy for people who have experienced trauma in Boston.

I am a warm, sometimes funny, sometimes sarcastic, always gentle therapist who is really, really, really passionate about helping you heal after sexual assault and other bad things.

As your therapist, I will join you on your journey through healing and growth - you will not be alone. I will help you feel strong, safe, and free from the burden of shame or negative beliefs about yourself that can develop after bad things happen.

I actively engage with you in the therapy process. Together we experiment, we get curious, we notice, we explore, and we play. And in this way we find what your body and mind needs to heal and move forward with life after trauma.

You will not always feel the way you do right now. You will not always be anxious, depressed, disconnected, or on edge. With the right therapist, the right therapy, and the right time it is possible to heal.

I have a Masters in Social Work from Boston College and am licensed to practice psychotherapy in Massachusetts. I supervise other therapists who are learning how to do trauma therapy. I am trained in Progressive Counting, EMDR, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 2). I stay active in the trauma & dissociation professional groups and am always learning new things!
