About

You’ve already taken the first step towards a powerful healing journey. The therapist you choose is important, and you should seek a trusting relationship.

My name is Jacqueline D. Pearce and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, School Counselor and Doctoral Candidate (2020) with over 20 years of relative experience. I am looking forward to hearing from you, so we can begin our journey together.

As your therapist, it is my priority to create a therapeutic atmosphere that will promote growth and positive change. As a Doctoral Candidate with over 20 years of leadership experience in counseling services, I have acquired a highly-effective skill set and extensive knowledge in this field of service.

My professional experiences, to date, have been extremely rewarding and afforded me with opportunities to work with behaviorally and emotionally challenged children within the public school settings, residential and one to one therapy. Through building and sustaining trusting relationships, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams, I have been able to facilitate substantial improvement in students’ behavior and academic progress. Moreover, I have a dynamic skill set in group therapy, crisis intervention and strategic planning, which has been instrumental in supporting clients with varying needs through private practice. Throughout the course of my professional experience, I have provided a range of therapeutic techniques and a client-centered approach to individuals of diverse backgrounds, ages, personalities and socioeconomic status.

I understand you might be overwhelmed, but you have already taken an important step forward. Let’s talk so we can keep you moving in that direction. Therapy is a process that can move you toward being the healthiest version of yourself and live the life you deserve.

I look forward to hearing from you.
