About

After 10 years in corporate America followed by several years of being a stay-at-home mom I decided to follow my life-long passion for helping others. I embarked on an advanced degree at Eastern Michigan University which led to many amazing opportunities in the counseling field.

Besides my work in private practice, I facilitate coping groups and provide individual counseling to students in a local school district. I also facilitate parenting workshops throughout the year.

I've been married to my husband Stewart for 23 years and we have two busy kids, Hannah, 22 and Stew, 20. Our "menagerie" of critters includes several rescues including dogs, cats, sheep and ducks.

I love music, the great outdoors, theatre, reading, and relaxing with family, friends and animals! One more thing, I'm a Sparty by default but some of my best friends are Wolverines!
