About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) skilled and experienced in helping individuals build richer lives that are more rewarding. Working with adult through different stages of life and some those stages are difficult and sometimes traumatic circumstances. I help individuals regain control in their lives.

I have a Master’s in the social sciences from the University of Colorado at Denver, in which I have counseled and supported individuals struggling through social services as well as their career choices, home, and family issues. I am experienced therapist with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver experienced in grief and loss issues, relational concerns, and substance abuse and dependence.

Let me say first, I have had the honor to work with many different individuals ( children, teens and adults) who have given me their trust allowing me to walk along side them during their journey. Many of these journeys were rough and some were traumatic. These individuals shared their stories and together, we searched for resolve, hope, and change. The goal in therapy is to gain “awareness.” Awareness is really gaining knowledge of ourselves in order to make some changes in our lives. I will walk with you as your ally and together, we will look for this awareness. Thus, change will grow and healing will begin.

I focus on Mindfulness in my sessions, some Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and some Acceptance and Commitment therapy.
