About

I have been practicing psychotherapy for more than 30 years. It is a meaningful and fulfilling career for me; one where I am challenged to grow, learn and live an authentic life. I have been married for 29 years and have two young adult children.

I have a BA degree from Duke University and a Master of Social Work from New York University. Following graduate school, I trained in a three year post-graduate program where I focused on couples therapy. I enjoy helping couples navigate their way through a variety of issues in all stages of relationship from pre-marriage to post-divorce.

I am a certified Imago relationship therapist and have studied with many of our country’s most influential relationship therapists. My education and experience allow me to reference complimentary theoretical perspectives and most effective, research-based practices, uniquely tailored to help you resolve your needs and concerns.

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of providing therapy to a diverse population of clients in a variety of clinical settings ranging from community mental health and family service agencies, private and city hospitals, and in my private practice.
