About

Is there a weight in your life that doesn’t seem to lift? Are there thoughts and feelings that you wish would just go away?

Like many creative people, I struggled for a long time with feeling out of place, anxious, and unworthy of love.

Through self-exploration and discovery, I was able to understand the source of my emotional pain and change my perspective and beliefs, which allowed me to begin living with a sense of worthiness. In turn, my art was free from my tight grip, and able to walk alongside me.

I am now a Massachusetts Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in therapy work with creative teenagers and young adults (ages 13-35) struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. I earned my master’s degree in counseling from Boston University and have experience working with various communities including survivors of abuse and individuals diagnosed with mood disorders, drug and alcohol dependencies, and eating disorders.

As creatives, we often find ourselves trying and failing to control our feelings. We surround ourselves with as many people as possible, we hide away under the bed sheets, and we hold our art responsible for concealing and carrying our heaviest emotions.

With a person-centered approach, Real Talk Practice is a space in which you can truly express your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. I welcome all worldviews and perspectives, and I believe each artist will have a personalized journey to their own healing. Some days that means needing a listening ear and other days that means making a game plan. Through that work, we will create strategies to access your resilient and creative spirit, identify your worthiness, and pursue a life that is meaningful to you.
