About

I truly enjoy working with people who are looking to excel in life, who are struggling to manage their emotions healthily, trauma survivors, teenagers (13+), pastors, marriages, and anybody looking for a safe place to work through life. I tend to have a direct and caring approach to counseling, and I mainly want to explore and find truth with my clients. I find that I work best with people who are willing to be a partner in the therapeutic process and can handle some bluntness about what is going on in their life.

Anxiety and depression are specialties of mine. This is mostly because I tend to focus on the unhealthy emotional coping skills behind the conditions and then work on how to gain and apply knowledge towards getting people healthy. This approach applies well elsewhere but it is easiest to see here.

There are a few unique things about me and my practice. 1) I am honest and straight forward, 2) I am not bothered by confrontation so I work well with law enforcement, veterans, aggressive people, etc., and 3) I genuinely care about people and want what is best for them.
