About

Samuel G. Johnson, MA,MAC BCC, NCC, ACS, LPC. Has lived in the western Pennsylvania area for over 15 years. He has worked in such varied fields as infant mental health, older adult mental health, residential treatment, inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, clinical supervision and consultation, university settings, and private practice. And has devoted his time to the pursuit of competent and compassionate trauma treatments such as Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Progresive Counting, Trauma Art Narrative Therapy (Sam is certified in all of the previous approaches), Seeking Safety, Brainspotting, and Tapping. Sam also does Emotionally Focused Couples and Family therapy.

Sam’s experiences have kept him very busy leading himself and leading others into more fruitful experiences and to foresee the best for themselves, family and friends to bring our lives meaning.

Sam is passionate about his family. He is married and has two children, he enjoys reading, running, fitness, and learning about healing trauma.

Sam sees his purpose as helping others become fully themselves in as many ways as possible. He strives to be a teacher.
