About
I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and owner of Life Revisions Counseling, LLC in Catonsville Maryland. I am licensed in the state of Maryland (LC7219), Michigan (6401019151), and have a temporary license in New Jersey. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Arts in Criminal Justice, Master of Science in Mental Health Therapy, and a Post-Bach Certification in Couples and Family Systems. I also possess a certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH). I have specialized training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder and Proper Component of Care from Postpartum Support International (PSI). With this training, I’m able to screen and offer therapy services to clients who struggle with Perinatal Mood Disorder, Post-Adoption Depression, and Anxiety. I also have training in conducting clinical assessments such as T Visa, U Visa, Asylum, and VAWA. In 2020 I received training and certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist-Individual (CCTSI) from the International Trauma Institute. I also received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in 2020. In 2021 I received training for Prepare Enrich which is another method that can be used with working with couples.
In 2017, I published a Premarital Counseling Workbook called, Before I do: Complete Premarital Counseling Workbook for Heterosexual, LGBTQ, and Polyamorous Couples. I was inspired to write this book after years of working with couples from different ethnic, cultural, sexual, and racial backgrounds. I soon realized the lack of information that didn't fit the needs for my particular clientele. I created an interactive workbook that is gender-neutral, user friendly, and client-focused. I wanted a workbook that my clients and other couples felt comfortable completing with a professional or in the comfort of their own home.
