About

As a Psychologist and Founder of Rockville Therapy Center LLC and Confident Kids Camp-DC Metro for Selective Mutism, I work with ages 3+ whose lives are affected by Selective Mutism and other Anxiety Disorders, Tics and Tourette's, OCD, and habits, such as hair pulling and nail biting. Treatment sessions are held in individual, family, group, and intensive therapy formats. I engage in ongoing communication with family, school, and community systems to foster collaborative relationships and optimize treatment success and quality of life.

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Exposure/Response Prevention for OCD, Comprehensive Intervention for Tics, and Parent Training. My particular interest include treatments that enhance social functioning, including the Confident Kids Camp-DC Metro, a 5-day intensive behavioral treatment program for selective mutism.

To increase awareness and education on mental health, I frequently provide community workshops, and offer professionals training and consultation in the areas of childhood anxiety, selective mutism, and anxiety based school refusal.
