About

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 25 years of experience in therapy from a Christian perspective.

I graduated from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work/Psychology. I went on to earn a specialized Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Azusa Pacific University and California Family Study Center, where I was trained and licensed. I had the unique experience of working at a Christian counseling center where they used a co-therapy model. This means I was able to learn from seven other experienced therapists as they integrated Biblical principles into their sessions.

I moved to Kansas City in 1990, starting a private practice from a Biblical Perspective. My office is located in Overland Park, Kansas conveniently located near Jack Stack BBQ and Red Robin at 7133 W. 95th St., Suite 210. (Why not get a bite to eat before you come?)
