About
I have always been passionate about supporting others. I have a Master's Degree from Lesley University in Expressive Therapy and Mental Health Counseling and am licensed to practice in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. I also hold a certificate in Trauma Studies. Prior to opening Three Little Birds I had a private practice in Lexington, MA and worked in community mental health settings around Boston as well. When I'm not at Three Little Birds, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, painting, and exercising.
I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I can offer you a warm atmosphere to explore barriers and find ways to make each day be what you want it to be. I can offer you space to express how you feel and what you need. We will work together to identify goals and create avenues for healthy change. I enjoy incorporating mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and expressive arts therapy into the work. I will support you to approach stressors by building off your strengths. If we recognize how far we have come, we can start to see a clearer path ahead of us. My hope is for you to feel empowered and in control of your life even at times of uncertainty.
It is important to transform therapy into what you need rather than what a therapist thinks you need. I pride myself on being a reflective lens to view negative thought patterns or behaviors that are impacting you. Treatment will look different for everyone that walks though my door but I will always offer compassion and empathy as you sift through what you need.
