Even in strong relationships, communication is complicated - "How did we get here - again?" Often, having an educated observer - a calm presence in the room - creates a safe space for sorting out issues and listening. During therapy, we may discover your relationship's unique boundaries, expectations, and communication styles. I draw from a broad social perspective and an understanding grounded in attachment and relational psychodynamic theories.
