About
Cai Carvalhaes (LCSW) is a trained therapist, clinical social worker, hypnotherapist, and yoga teacher. She is specialized in mindfulness providing individual and group therapy helping individuals in the treatment of stress, anxiety, depression, and gender issues. She is clinically trained by Dr. Brian Weiss in Past Lives Regression to address trauma and phobias. Cai is also a National Certified Hypnotherapist (CH) by the National Guild of Hypnotists an excellent approach to use with clients in personalizing life goals, increasing inner strength and achieving a better quality of life.
During her life’s journey she has had to endure several challenges that have brought her close to meditation; a coping skill that she uses and teaches in order to help clients to reconnect with themselves. Cai is also a certified yoga teacher (ERYT 200) which gives her the ability to use specific breathing and yoga exercises with her clients to promote balance between mind and body. Cai teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Social Work School.

Cai Carvalhaes is pursuing her PhD in Depth Psychology with an Specialization in Integrative Therapy and Healing Practices at Pacifica Graduate Institute in California. “The program has increased my understanding of Jungian approach to dreams and archetypes as well as the use of clinical intuition in sessions.”
