Amy Stenger-Sullivan (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, trainer and CEO of Rooted Compassion Counseling and Consulting, LLC. Amy is a Certified Trauma Responsive Counselor and specializes in using and teaching about the Polyvagal Theory to help people move into post-traumatic healing and growth. Her style is compassionate, empathetic, direct and infused with humor.

Amy's understanding of emotional struggles is extensive and she is deeply skilled and adept at helping people work through theirs. Feelings and trauma are experienced first in our bodies, then our brain. Amy knows the work has to start in creating awareness of this.

Having twenty years experience as a massage therapist and body worker uniquely positions Amy to understand the body-mind connection.
