About
Hi friends, I’m Amber! As a woman, a wife and a mother, I know what it’s like to juggle many different roles, and I understand how trying to do it all can lead to overwhelm and exhaustion. If you’re struggling to do it all without sacrificing your own health and well-being, I get it. I’ve struggled with not putting myself and my health first, and I know how devastating that can be—not only for you, but for your loved ones as well. With some perseverance, I learned how to heal my body, fix my digestion issues and improve my energy levels. And I want to help you on your journey to healing as well.
I believe each of us has the power within ourselves to make the changes necessary to live our best lives. I believe you CAN be the best person, mom, dad, wife, husband and friend that you want to be. It will take a little work on both our parts to get you there. But I know that it’s possible, and I’m excited to help guide you toward your healthiest life!
Integrative Counseling & Nutrition Consulting is all about helping you feel better by addressing your needs as a whole person—not just your symptoms. Wellness is about the whole self, so I take everything into consideration when working with you: your mindset, nutrition, self-esteem, sleep, lifestyle, movement, work life, relationships. All of these things can have an effect on your physical and mental health.
When I worked in private practice as a counselor, I found that people’s nutrition greatly impacted their mental health and well-being. This led me to health coaching, where I primarily worked with people trying to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight. There, I found that people not only needed help from a nutrition standpoint, but they also needed to address their mental health to truly heal their body from the inside out.
And that leads me to where I am today: helping people reach their health and wellness goals from a holistic perspective. Whether you are coming in for counseling or nutrition consulting, this integrative approach helps us address you as a whole person, so that lasting change can take place.
